Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, has begun delivering its Prima 5530.S LNG trucks to green fuel retailing and logistics company Clean Green Fuel & Logistics (CGF). The manufacturer has delivered the first batch of an initial 150-truck order, with remaining deliveries scheduled to occur in phases.
Additionally, Tata Motors signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CGF for 350 more Prima 5530.S LNG trucks.

The addition of Tata Motors’ advanced LNG tractors to our fleet marks an important step forward in making our operations greener.”

The Prima 5530.S LNG features a Cummins 6.7L Gas engine that produces 280hp and 1100Nm of torque. The vehicle includes Fleet Edge, Tata Motors’ connected vehicle platform, and is available with single or dual cryogenic tank options. The dual tank configuration provides a range exceeding 1,000km.
Tata Motors’ alternative fuel vehicle portfolio includes technologies such as battery electric, CNG, LNG, hydrogen internal combustion, and hydrogen fuel cell across various commercial vehicle segments.
