Russell Engineering, part of the John G Russell (Transport) Group, is linking with hydrogen fuel cell manufacturer and truck assembler Hyzon and infrastructure provider Element 2 to bring a range of fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV) to the UK market.
The Scottish-based engineering company was exhibiting at the recent Scottish Clean Air roadshow organised by Transport News, and had a mobile hydrogen refuelling trailer and fuel cell engine on display at the Murrayfield event. There are plans for a full range of rigid and tractor units to come into the UK, with the company planning to assemble vehicles at one of its engineering facilities.
