Renault Trucks is embarking on a journey across Europe, showcasing its commitment to electric mobility with the introduction of the Diamond Echo, a 100% electric truck.
Departing from the Bourg-en-Bresse plant on April 11, 2024, the vehicle, a Renault Trucks E-Tech T model, will travel over 10,000 kilometres through 7 countries, making more than 60 stops along the way. The purpose? To engage with the transport community and demonstrate the practicality of electric mobility in real-world operational settings.
The Renault Trucks E-Tech T Diamond Echo boasts a distinctive electroluminescent design, crafted in collaboration with drivers and specialists. Utilising Lumilor technology, the truck’s paint, skillfully applied by Demon Paint, illuminates when exposed to an electrical stimulus, creating a captivating sight especially in the dark.
This tour marks a significant milestone as the Renault Trucks E-Tech T Diamond Echo becomes the first 100% electric truck to embark on such a journey across Europe. Over the course of April to July, it will move through a range of landscapes and climates. At each stop, transport professionals will have the opportunity to interact with the vehicle, experiencing firsthand the operational benefits of electric mobility.
