Peterbilt Motors Company and PACCAR Leasing Company (PacLease) have partnered to deliver two Model 579EV Day Cabs to Truck King, a trucking company in the Dallas area. The vehicles will be used for local line-haul operations, delivering components for manufacturing companies.
The Model 579EVs will cover daily delivery routes between PACCAR’s Dynacraft facility in McKinney and Peterbilt’s Denton manufacturing plant. This is a suitable route for electrification success, given the operation’s urban environment and range requirements.
Peterbilt’s Model 579EV is known for its smooth and strong acceleration, quiet operation, and superior comfort. “We are committed to customer success and productivity and are pleased that Truck King chose to partner with Peterbilt as their provider of electric trucks.
