Maxus electric 7.5-tonner was unveiled at IAA Transportation 2022 and is expected to make UK debut as early as next year

Mark Barrett, Harris Maxus general manager, said: “With the possible changes to licences bringing back the entitlement to drive 7.5-tonne vans for car drivers it is a catalyst that has sparked the interest. Without [licence changes], the likes of your home delivery, local authority, and of course your builder types will be interested in it. So we see a big opportunity for it alongside the planned heavy truck model.”
