Mercedes-Benz Trucks engineers are conducting tests on prototypes of the battery-electric eActros 600 at the former military training ground in Münsingen and nearby public roads.
Further pictures have been released of the new Mercedes-Benz Trucks eActros 600 as the company prepares the vehicles for its launch in October. The vehicle is undergoing performance testing in the Swabian Alb region of Germany, while acoustics testing is being done at the Münsingen acoustics test track. The eActros 600, expected to enter series production in 2024, will boast a range of approximately 500 kilometres.The new battery electric truck will be available both in tractor unit and rigid variants. Its name ‘600’ represents the battery capacity in kilowatt-hours.
