Customers in the BeNeLux region will now have access to a wide range of Designwerk electric trucks, from dump trucks to low-floor vehicles, offering a diverse selection to meet their transport needs.
Swiss eMobility specialist Designwerk is expanding its horizons as it introduces its full range of electric trucks to Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. This strategic move marks a significant northward expansion for the Volvo subsidiary.
Customers in the BeNeLux region now have access to Designwerk’s comprehensive selection of electric trucks, including dump trucks, low-floor vehicles, and heavy-duty transporters, ranging from 18 to 50 tonnes with battery capacities spanning from 375 to 1,000kWh. The Swiss company has been actively operating in Germany since 2021.
“We see a great deal of market potential in the Benelux states for Designwerk e-trucks due to the advanced state of technological development combined with the positive societal and political environment. One example: The Netherlands is continuously investing in the energy transition and thus accelerating market developments. The dense and publicly accessible charging station network is one result of these investments.”, says Thomas Rücker, head of e-truck sales and aftersales at Designwerk Technologies AG.
