Volta Trucks, the all-electric commercial vehicle manufacturer and services provider, has partnered with Qover and Helvetia International Automotive to offer specialised insurance coverage to its customers.
Qover, Europe’s leading insurance tech company, will manage the tailored motor insurance, while the coverage will be insured by Helvetia International Automotive, the division of the Swiss insurance company with over 160 years of experience. The partnership will be available to all customers in the EU and the UK, with Helvetia insurance products initially available in France, Spain, Germany, and the Netherlands.
The insurance coverage is a crucial component of Volta trucks’ Truck as a Service offer, which seeks to accelerate the adoption of electric commercial vehicles for fleet operators by providing a frictionless and hassle-free way to electrify their fleets.
Volta Trucks’ partnership with Qover and Helvetia ensures its customers will receive tailored motor insurance with bespoke, adjustable cover levels based on each fleet-use case. The end-to-end user experience is simple and seamless, from quote to subscription and claim, with any repair work undertaken by Volta Trucks’ own repair experts within the manufacturer’s network. The partnership will also enable Volta Trucks to develop enhanced insurance programs that leverage telematics data from its vehicles to enhance safety for customers and other road users.
