Petit Forestier, a European refrigeration hire company, is expanding its partnership with Volta Trucks.
The collaboration involves Petit Forestier becoming the rental and leasing provider for the refrigerated variants of Volta trucks’ all-electric 16-tonne and 18-tonne Volta Zero trucks. The agreement covers several European markets, including France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, where customers will have access to these innovative electric refrigerated vehicles.
The new partnership builds upon the previously announced purchase and supply agreement between Volta Trucks and Petit Forestier. By extending their collaboration to include rental and leasing options, the companies aim to simplify the transition to electric fleets for businesses in the selected markets. Volta Trucks brings its expertise in electric trucks and charging infrastructure, while Petit Forestier contributes its knowledge and experience in refrigerated full-service solutions.
Petit Forestier has Europe’s largest fleet of over 70,000 refrigerated vehicles available for hire. With operations in 20 countries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the United States, Petit Forestier serves more than 15,000 customers.
The refrigerated variants of the Volta Zero add a critical component to Volta Trucks’ urban strategy. By providing rental and leasing options for electric refrigerated vehicles, the partnership with Petit Forestier offers businesses in Europe and the UK an opportunity to make their cold chain logistics more environmentally friendly and sustainable.
