TMA Bolaget AB, a Swedish traffic safety company, has added two eEconic electric trucks to its fleet, supporting Stockholm’s efforts toward sustainable urban transportation.
These trucks, designed for emission-free and safe urban deployment, offer an ergonomic working environment for drivers.
Pär Hildestrand, eMobility Manager at Veho Import, the general distributor for Daimler Truck in Sweden stated, “With its ergonomics and safety features, the eEconic is a perfect vehicle for zero-emission city operation.’ He continued, ’It is mainly used in waste management, but there are many other possible applications for this vehicle, and this is a perfect example.”
The delivery of these trucks by Bilia AB, a vehicle dealer and service provider, marks a milestone for both companies in Stockholm. These eEconic vehicles, outfitted by bodybuilder Vicky Teknik, feature insulated box bodies, a separate battery system offering approximately 20 hours of operating capacity per charge, and four 380 W solar panels.
