Gustaf Sundell, who is now Scania’s Head of Strategy and Corporate Management, has been named Executive Vice President and Head of Mobility Solutions. He will join Scania’s Executive Board on the 1st November, 2022, and will report to Christian Levin, President and CEO of Scania and TRATON.
Mobility Solutions, which comprises the wholly-owned subsidiary LOTS Group, was established in the spring of 2021 with the goal of capitalising on market possibilities in the future transportation environment. The section is responsible for establishing new business models outside of Scania’s present core business, expanding Scania’s participation in the transportation and logistics value chain, and developing and commercialising the autonomous product.
“In his capacity as heading up the strategy department, Gustaf’s contributions to making Scania equipped for an evolving eco-system have been great. With his leadership, commercial expertise and solid experience from Scania internationally, he has a good background to continue to develop the area of Mobility Solutions and secure a close connection to the other functions, as well and contribute to our executive management team,” says Christian Levin.
