The annual Coca-Cola Christmas truck tour is spreading festive cheer throughout Austria, and this year’s highlight is the inclusion of an all-electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 300.
The eActros 300, equipped with three battery packs, offers an impressive range of up to 330 kilometers, contributing to Coca-Cola’s commitment to eco-friendly practices.
Philipp Bodzenta, company spokesman for Coca-Cola Austria, highlights the special focus on sustainability during the roadshow: “We want to bring emotional moments to people all over Austria while keeping a close eye on our sustainability goals.”
The eActros 300 specifications include a maximum vehicle length of 9300 mm, a width of 2,500 mm (2,550 mm with aluminum rims), and a wheelbase of 5,500 mm. The vehicle has a gross vehicle weight of 19 tons and a payload capacity of approximately 10.6 tons without a body.
The lithium-ion batteries, organised in three packs totaling 336 kWh, allow for a maximum charging power of 160 kW and a charging time from 20% to 80% in approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Read more on the Fright Carbon Zero Truck Index.
