Volta Trucks has revealed a site in Tottenham will be the location of its first ‘Volta Trucks Hub’ in the United Kingdom. The location will look after the battery electric Volta Zero trucks that will begin operating on London streets in early 2023. The Hub is Volta Trucks’ second service and maintenance facility, following Bonneuil-sur-Marne near Paris, with further centres in other European cities to be announced in the future.
“London and Paris are Volta Trucks’ initial launch markets, and the availability of service and maintenance facilities is key for customer’s trust and confidence in our ability to deliver on our promises, and maintain the uptime of their vehicles. The search for the right location with the right environmental credentials has been extensive, but our new Volta Trucks Hub in Tottenham gives us, and our customers, everything needed to introduce our innovative truck into the important UK market and be fully operational from day one,” said Casper Norden, Chief Fleet Solutions Officer of Volta Trucks.
The 2800sq-m facility will include an eight-bay workshop, a showroom, training facility and a customer call centre.
