Volta Trucks and Siemens have announced plans to collaborate to deliver an eMobility charging infrastructure to Volta Trucks customers.
The collaboration brings together Volta Trucks’ approach to commercial vehicle fleet electrification and and operational expertise through its Truck as a Service offer and Siemens’ global experience in electric vehicle support solutions. This comprises facility electrification, charging infrastructure, energy management, building equipment, and project financing.
Siemens will manage the technical infrastructure of the charging installations for Volta Trucks’ Truck as a Service customers in order to give a best-in-class solution. This includes the hardware and software needed to run the charging and power distribution infrastructure for Volta Zero fleets.
