Traton Charging Solutions, a division of the Traton Group, has completed its first year of operations, expanding its charging infrastructure for commercial vehicles across Europe and establishing a strategic partnership with Hubject.
The eMobility Service Provider (eMSP), representing brands including Scania, MAN and Volkswagen Truck & Bus, now operates approximately 150 charging locations with over 400 charging points across 19 European countries.
“It’s incredible to think of what we’ve achieved in twelve months,” said Dr. Petra Sundström, Managing Director. “Previously, the experience for fleet customers in terms of accessing charge point locations and managing payments was below par.”
As part of its milestone celebrations, Traton Charging Solutions has announced a strategic partnership with Hubject, a leader in eRoaming technology. This collaboration enhances the network’s capabilities, providing seamless access to Hubject’s extensive charging platform and simplifying processes with integrated access, one invoice, and consistent pricing.
Christian Hahn, CEO of Hubject, stated, “Partnering with Traton Charging Solutions represents an important step in driving the adoption of electric commercial vehicles. Our combined efforts will help create a seamless charging experience that meets the demands of this rapidly growing sector.”
The partnership also underscores joint initiatives to shape EU-wide charging standards, ensuring the infrastructure aligns with fleet operators’ needs as the sector evolves.
