TruckCharge provides a range of services independent of the truck brand, catering to both truck fleet operators and industrial companies managing their own or outsourced fleets. This new initiative is part of Daimler Truck’s strategy to enhance the overall cost-efficiency of fleet operations and facilitate the transition to e-mobility.

“With TruckCharge, we are now bundling our range of solutions under one brand and plan to continuously expand the portfolio,” says Karin Rådström, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Trucks.

Daimler Truck offers consulting services aimed at optimizing the Total Cost of Ownership for electric truck fleets. This includes assistance in electrifying fleets and depots, planning and building depot Charging infrastructure, and connecting to the grid. The consulting services also help identify public funding opportunities for infrastructure and vehicles.

Customers can purchase fast-charging stations through Daimler Truck dealerships as part of the “Depot Charging” package, which includes consulting, hardware sales, technical service, and financing solutions. Qualified partners will handle the installation to ensure efficient charging and high vehicle availability. Pilot projects have already begun at various dealerships in Germany, with plans to expand across Europe. Alpitronic is the strategic partner for these charging stations.

Digital services under TruckCharge include intelligent charging management and suitable payment functions for public charging, enhancing the overall vehicle fleet operation.
